I know I'm not the only one who wishes Cassie and T.J. had gotten together, for they really could have made a good couple. T.J. is fun and energetic, yet he's sensitive and sharp-minded. Cassie is brash and a bit headstrong, yet certainly not devoid of a romantic side. I thought I saw sparks fly in "Passing the Torch," especially since they both moved to California to chase a dream, and seemed to forge an instant bond. Fans of T.J. and Cassie were disappointed as the Pink Turbo Ranger turned her attention to the mysterious Phantom Ranger, and T.J. had no visible problem with it. Still, we can all take heart in the fact that T.J. and Cassie remained especially close friends, both in Turbo and Power Rangers in Space. They spent a great deal of time together, fought well side by side, and seemed to sense when one another needed a listening ear or a supportive smile.
