The mystery and strength that characterizes the Phantom Ranger pulled Cassie in like a black hole. She confessed to Ashley to liking men who are "tall, dark, and mysterious," and apparently the Phantom fits the bill. And there's reason to believe he feels similarly about the Pink Turbo/Astro Ranger. What does the future hold for these two individuals, separated physically and culturally, yet bonded emotionally? There's a rumor floating around that some reckoning between Cassie and the Phantom was planned for "Countdown to Destruction," but it was cut due to length, leaving the couple unreconciled on the series. So we'll never know of the Phantom ever really reciprocated Cassie's fascination... but Cassie's strong feelings are undeniable.
