Jason: "You know what? I have a feeling that your luck is about to change for the better. And I also think you're going to make a lot of good friends here."
Emily: "I've already started."

Bomber in the Summer

I personally find it rather funny that, through the entire season and a half that Jason was the Red Power Ranger, he didn't have a single romantic interest. Not one. Meanwhile, Billy had Marge, Zack had Angela, Trini had Richie, and Kim had Tommy. I guess the pressures of leadership made it a bit difficult for Jason to pursue a relationship. However, when he made his triumphant return as the Gold Ranger, it didn't take long for Cupid to realize he'd missed someone. Jason met Emily, a seeming rebel without a cause, who passed her time with a trouble-making gang of bikers. But somehow, Jason came to the conclusion that Emily wasn't a cruel or uncaring person. Instead, he decided to approach her, and try to convince her to stop her friends from terrorizing Ernie's beachfront restaurant. Jason's tender appeal reached Emily, and she managed to convince her friends to leave the restaurant in peace. In fact, as a gesture of friendship, she even offered to waitress at the restaurant. Ever since, she and Jason seemed to be quite close. I'm not sure if they ever officially dated onscreen, but they did share a few beachfront lunches and hula dances.
