I must admit, I was absolutely thrilled to see Joel Rawlings and Angela Fairweather's first interaction! They collided in the hallway, and you could see the light shine in Joel's smile as he tried his best to impress her with his cowboy charm. Wow... a romantic exchange on the second episode! And in what is a rare instance, this spark wasn't forgotten. As the series progressed, Joel persisted in trying to win Angela's heart, risking his life to save her, and even rescuing a man he thought was a rival. In the end, Joel's efforts paid off. In the finale to the series, the pair went on their first date. When we last saw Joel in "Time For Lightspeed," he declared that he was on his honeymoon.
