Kat: "As long as Tommy's happy... that's all that matters." There's No Business Like Snow Business
When we first met Katherine Hillard, she was entranced by Rita to lure Tommy into danger. However, we quickly learned that Katherine's desire was never to hurt Tommy. Rather, she wanted to have him, and that earnest longing proved to be seated deep in Kat's heart, for even when Rita's influence was dispelled, she was still drawn to the heroic leader of the Power Rangers. Yet Kat never acted upon her feelings, respecting the sanctity of Tommy's feelings for Kimberly, and went above and beyond the call of duty after the infamous breakup by doing all in her power to ease the Red Ranger's grief. Kat's patience and compassion appealed to Tommy, earning his affection and eventually his love. As a result, Kat and Tommy have the distinction of being the first Ranger couple to be married in Power Rangers canon… assuming, of course, you recognize "A Season to Remember" as canon.
