Skull's crush on Kimberly was the very first romantic interest shown on the show. He hit on her in the first episode, in the very scene that introduced him. Skull's interest in the perky gymnast was a recurrent theme, which was perpetrated all the way through Kim's stay on Power Rangers. And interestingly enough, on two episodes Kimberly showed interest in Skull. Granted, she was under a "Punk" spell in one, and a "Love" spell in another... but I wonder if these spells fed off something real? Of course, I'm not posing that Kimberly was ever in love with Skull, or even consciously interested. On the contrary, she was outright disgusted by him at the beginning. But it's not impossible that Kim had a soft-spot for the bumbling yet kind-hearted punk, who was so obviously head-over-heels for the Pink Ranger since before the series began. Fans of this match should note that they shared several tender moments, including a stolen kiss under the mistletoe and a slow dance at the Policeman's Ball, and in both instances no spells were involved.
