Kimberly: "Tommy... I'm really scared."
Changing of the Zords, Part III Ah, the love of Tommy Oliver and Kimberly Hart. The epitome of Ranger Romance. Why do I make that statement? Well, theirs was the first serious relationship featured in in Power Rangers, and was one of the very few genuine romances the series ever allowed to progress. I'm always complaining about casual flirting or a starry-eyed crush dying amidst all the action, but this was the shining exception. It all started one afternoon in the Juice Bar, when Kim's wandering gaze fell upon a handsome stranger warming up for a martial arts competition. We saw the shy smiles and occasional winks culminate in a sweet kiss by the lake the day the Green Ranger left the team. Oh, but it didn't end there! Thankfully, Saban reacted to the overwhelming popularity of the Green Ranger, and Tommy returned to the ranks... and to Kimberly. And the writers didn't forget where our lovebirds left off, either! No, the Green to White Ranger and his Pink Princess went on numerous dates, exchanged several hugs and kisses, often held hands, presented a few gifts, and always offered love and support when desperately needed. It was a wonderful exploration of teenaged romance, tempered by the pressures both had to endure as protectors of Earth to give their feelings unique maturity. This was one out of only a handful of consistently affectionate, established Ranger relationships we experienced, and the only one that really lasted. As a result, it is the dearest in many Ranger Romance fans' hearts. "Green With Evil" "The Spitflower" "Calamity Kimberly" "The Green Candle" "An Oyster Stew" "The Song of Guitardo" "Two For One" "Best Man for the Job" "Wild West Rangers" "The Potion Notion" "The Changing of the Zords" "A Different Shade of Pink" "There's No Business Like Snow Business" "I'm Dreaming of a White Ranger"
