It started out as so many Ranger crushes did: love at first sight. Kira was rendered speechless when the handsome Trent Fernandez walked into the Cyber Cafe, unable to even return the greeting when Trent introduced himself. After Trent accepted a job as a waiter at the Cafe, the pair had a few casual interactions, progressively getting to know one another. However, their friendship took an unexpected twist when Trent was influenced by the dark power of the White Dino Gem, corrupting his personality and turning him into a violent monster. Still, despite the slim odds of rescuing Trent, and even Trent's own insistence that she stay away, Kira never quite lost hope that the sweet artist she'd come to appreciate was there somewhere. And her hope was rewarded when the evil encoding of the gem was finally broken.
