I don't know about you, but when I saw these two Rangers meet face to face, I definitely saw sparks fly! Eric Myers, co-captain of the Silver Guardians, tickets Taylor Earhardt for speeding in her new convertible. This obviously establishes a rocky foundation upon which their subsequent interactions lie... yet despite the fiery temper of the Yellow Eagle Ranger and the rigid attitude of the Quantum Ranger, over the two episodes there is a definite shift from outrage to attraction. Taylor and Eric exchange many a long stare, and a conversation about firearms was a great opportunity for these two Rangers to explore their similarities. And you have to admit: Taylor and Eric are easily two of the most abrasive Rangers we've ever seen, so finding common ground is no doubt a rarity. I was very impressed with "Reinforcements From the Future," and just how much ground Taylor and Eric were able to cover! Over two episodes, they met, argued, battled side by side, mutually impressed one another, and flirted during the cross-team picnic. This onscreen relationship ended on a high note, leaving me to believe that, at the very least, Taylor and Eric found someone they can really relate to.
