I have found that the pairing of Elizabeth "Z" Delgado and Bridge Carson has grown on me. Z's life has been one of hardship and isolation for the most part, and making the transition from street thief to SPD officer couldn't have been easy. Out of the three original cadets, Bridge seemed the most welcoming, his sincere greeting bringing a smile to Z's face upon their introduction. And as the series continued, Bridge's unique deduction process, amusing experiments, and all-around warmth have proven to be disarming. Z and Bridge share a close friendship, with Z displaying a patience for Bridge's quirks that his long-time friends often lack. Could that friendship deepen into something more? Depends on who you ask.
